Midlands School of Robotics and Computing

About Midlands School of Robotics and Computing

Midlands School of Robotics and Computing (MSRC) is a pioneering virtual school founded in 2021 to address the growing demand for practical and inclusive technology education. We collaborate with both urban and rural physical schools to bridge the digital divide by delivering hands-on learning experiences in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), robotics, and computing.

Through innovative mobile laboratories, structured training programs, and engaging educational tools, MSRC creates interactive environments that support effective teaching and meaningful learning. Our approach focuses on equipping learners and educators with essential digital skills, technical confidence, and real-world problem-solving abilities required in a technology-driven world.

Our Journey

Midlands School of Robotics and Computing was established in 2021 to respond to the growing need for skilled professionals in technology-related fields and the widening gap in access to digital resources within schools. Recognising that many institutions lacked infrastructure, trained personnel, and modern learning tools, MSRC was founded to provide flexible, practical, and scalable technology education solutions.

Since its establishment, MSRC has expanded its offerings to include mobile computer laboratories, coding and robotics training, programming curricula, educational mobile games, and technical support services. Today, we continue to work closely with schools and communities to promote digital inclusion and sustainable technology education across Zimbabwe.
